I tutor IB Computer Science and usually work with students who are fine with coding but less sure about how to explain algorithms in exam answers. I spend a lot of time on Paper 1 structure, pseudocode, databases and the IA, especially getting the criterion wording right. I like going through code line by line, then linking it back to the theory so Paper 2 feels less random. I’ve worked with both SL and HL students, but I only tutor IB Computer Science, so the lessons stay tightly linked to the syllabus.
